The 2012 Summer Olympics is to be held in London from 27 July to 12 August 2012. The opening ceremony is going to be organized in the New London Olympic Stadium, Stratford on July 27th 2012.

Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, Jwala Gupta, and Abhinav Bhindra are some of the Indian athletes who have high hopes for gold medals.

Despite 1.2 billion populations, India has only taken like 20 Olympic medals since it first participated in Olympics. India always underperforms at Olympics. Let’s hope India performs well this time in London Olympics.
